CURRICULUM CONFERENCES

At the beginning of each school year, we hold grade curriculum conferences for parents.  These conferences are an excellent opportunity for parents to meet their child’s new teacher and to acquaint themselves with the subject matter that their child will be learning during the school year. The teacher will explain the educational goals for the year, the purpose of homework, and the child’s responsibilities within the classroom.  These conferences are an invaluable tool for parents in helping their children reach these goals and should be attended. A parent unable to attend the scheduled conference is urged to request an appointment, in writing, to see the teacher at another time. A teacher can meet with a parent during their preparation period. Teachers are not available to meet with you at arrival, dismissal or lunch time.
